- Oversee day-to-day factory operations, including production planning and execution
- Ensure production targets are met with optimum utilization of manpower and machines
- Monitor quality standards and ensure compliance with company and customer requirements
- Manage factory workforce, including supervisors, operators, and support staff
- Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Quality, Maintenance, and Dispatch departments
- Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance of machinery and equipment
- Implement and monitor safety norms, statutory compliances, and housekeeping (5S)
- Control production costs, reduce wastage, and improve productivity
- Prepare and submit production, manpower, and performance reports to management
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization
